Join Our Dynamic Finance Team as a Financial Accountant!
Are you a skilled and motivated Financial Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity? We are thrilled to invite you to join our vibrant finance team at GroupM Finland, where you’ll work alongside 8 dedicated colleagues in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
This is a permanent, full-time role (37,5 h/week) that offers the chance to make a significant impact on the financial health of our organization.
The desired start date of the employment would be in November 2024.
Your Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in everything we do. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Monthly & Yearly Closings: Take charge of the closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Invoice & Bank Statement Posting: Accurately post purchase invoices and bank statements to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Payment Preparation: Prepare outgoing payments with precision and timeliness.
- Project Invoicing: Handle invoicing for projects, ensuring all details are correct.
- Credit Monitoring: Monitor and control credit to minimize risks and safeguard our financial stability.
- VAT Reporting: Prepare and submit VAT reports in compliance with regulations.
- SOX Controls: Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual SOX controls to maintain robust financial oversight.
- Process Automation Projects: Participate in development projects aimed at automating financial processes for greater efficiency.
What You Bring:
- Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of Finnish accounting standards with at least 3 years of experience in accounting.
- Excel Mastery: Proficient in using Excel as a reporting tool.
- Educational Background: A degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both verbal and written English and Finnish (Swedish proficiency is a plus).
